FleetPanda Dispatch Integration
When a carrier accepts an order in Energy Connect, the order is placed on that carrier's FleetPanda dispatch board, and load status and delivered gallons come back in real time as the driver delivers. The dispatcher does not retype the load, and the order owner sees the delivery without a phone call.
A carrier connects its own FleetPanda account with an API key, and order sending is switched on per connection.
The round trip
- Accept. The carrier accepts the order in Energy Connect.
- Prepare. Energy Connect makes sure FleetPanda knows the products, the customer and the delivery site, creating or updating each one first. An order that names something FleetPanda has never seen would otherwise be rejected.
- Dispatch. The order is placed on the carrier's FleetPanda dispatch board tagged with its Energy Connect order reference.
- Return. As the driver delivers, load status and delivered gallons come back in real time; Energy Connect matches them to the order it sent and records the delivery against it.
What it does not do
- It sends only to the carrier that accepted. The order owner's systems are not written to through this connection.
- By default, it does not import other FleetPanda orders. Loads that started in FleetPanda are left there; only orders Energy Connect sent are matched back.
- Where a delivered load cannot be matched to exactly one order, it is left unmatched rather than written onto a guess.
