Industries We Serve
Energy Connect is built for bulk liquid. The same load board, supplier pricing, delivery documents and invoices that handle fuel also work for propane, lubricants, chemicals and agricultural liquids.
Fuel
The product catalog covers gasoline grades, ultra-low sulfur diesel and other distillates, jet fuel and aviation gasoline, and biofuels such as biodiesel blends and renewable diesel.
Fuel suppliers and wholesalers, jobbers, fuel brokers, fuel carriers, and the fleets and stations that buy fuel.
Suppliers post a price for each of their terminals in the supplier portal. Loads go on the load board for carriers to bid on, drivers photograph the bill of lading in the mobile app, and invoices follow the delivered quantity rather than the ordered one.
Propane
Propane, including HD-5 grade, along with butane, isobutane and propane-propylene mixes.
Propane suppliers and distributors, the carriers that haul for them, and the farms and businesses they deliver to.
Propane loads post to the same load board as fuel. When a broker or carrier creates an order in the web portal, they can set the truck type the load needs, such as a bobtail, and whether the truck must bring its own pump. Customers place propane orders from the customer portal and follow each delivery there.
Lubricants
Bulk motor oil, hydraulic fluid, transmission fluid and gear oil, base oils, coolant and antifreeze, and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF).
Lubricant suppliers and distributors, the carriers that haul for them, and the fleets and plants that run on them.
Bulk lubricant and DEF loads sit on the load board next to fuel loads, and the order records whether the truck needs a pump to unload. Delivery documents and the invoice stay attached to the order, so the paperwork for each delivery is in one place.
Chemicals
Liquid industrial chemicals, acids such as sulfuric and hydrochloric acid, caustic soda and other alkalis, solvents and alcohols such as methanol and acetone, and water-treatment chemicals.
Chemical distributors, the carriers that haul their products, and the plants and facilities that use them.
A chemical load posts to the load board with its truck type, pump requirement and delivery notes on the order, so a carrier sees them before bidding. Bills of lading and delivery documents stay on the order, and brokers keep the buy and sell price of each deal in one place.
Agriculture
Liquid fertilizers such as UAN and ammonium polyphosphate, liquid herbicides, fungicides and insecticides, liquid micronutrients and crop oil concentrate.
Ag retailers, co-ops, growers and the carriers that serve them.
Liquid fertilizer and crop-protection loads post to the load board the same way fuel loads do, and carriers bid on them from the web portal or the mobile app. Customers order from the customer portal and see each delivery and invoice in their account.
