Fuel, From Rack Price to Invoice

Suppliers post a price for each of their terminals in the supplier portal. Loads go on the load board for carriers to bid on, drivers photograph the bill of lading in the mobile app, and recording the delivery prepares a draft invoice for review.

Fuel products

The product catalog covers gasoline grades, ultra-low sulfur diesel and other distillates, jet fuel and aviation gasoline, and biofuels such as biodiesel blends and renewable diesel.

Who uses it for fuel

Fuel suppliers and wholesalers, jobbers, fuel brokers, fuel carriers, and the fleets and stations that buy fuel.

How it works

  1. Post a price at each terminal

Suppliers keep their own list of loading terminals and post a price for each one. A price can be scheduled with a start date, and buyers don't see it until it takes effect.

  2. Put the load on the board

The load goes on the load board, carriers send bids, and the poster accepts or declines each one.

  3. Capture the BOL at pickup

The driver photographs the bill of lading in the mobile app. The app fills in the product lines, gallons and seal numbers for the driver to check before submitting.

  4. Review the invoice

Recording the delivery prepares a draft invoice for review. You can edit the draft, issue it to the bill-to party and download a PDF copy.

Common Questions

Can a supplier price each terminal separately?

Yes. Each terminal on the supplier's list gets its own price, and a price can carry an end date as well as a start date.

Does the driver have to photograph the bill of lading?

No. The app can read a photo of the BOL, or one picked from Photos or Files, and the driver can always type the BOL in by hand.

Is the invoice sent as soon as the load is delivered?

Not unless you turn on auto-issue. The delivery prepares a draft invoice for review, and it is not sent until someone issues it.
